Very few are. It's thrilling to see someone on such a learning curve and I have to say, you're a promising student. Now your other "I am a boy" moment here was in spelling separate as 'seperate': see *http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?search=parare&searchmode=none to connect separate to all the other words derived from 'parere,' 'to fend off.' Such as 'parry,' to fend off. Ironically, some of those words did eventually get an 'e' at the critical juncture in English, like 'imperative' and 'vituperate,' but you still have others like 'prepare' as good role models for 'separate.' You don't need to study Latin for all this; I haven't so far. Hugs. |
