When a thread gets down low enough or the point is just being repeated it's ok to just stop the discussion. You've been around here long enough to know that many discussions repeat themselves in a few weeks, months, or years. Plenty of issues will never really be resolved, it's fine sharing our opinions on it but at a certain point it becomes futile and better to just move on.
