First of all, be careful with mapping complex psychological concepts one-on-one with brain areas, or halves. Save for the very simplest of activities like tapping a pencil with one hand, we use both our brain halves simultaneously all the time. Identifying yourself with one half of your brain is the surest thing to make your local neurologist cringe and give up hope in humanity. Don't make scientists cry. They're your friends!

That said, yes, your inability to reach spiritual growth could be so severe that it might seem your hardware just can't handle it. And yes, you might need external intervention to reach recovery. But... save that for later. There's still much to discover about the world with your functional brain parts before activating the others. The more you know, the more balanced you'll become once you'll experience neurochemical reactivation. LEARN LEARN LEARN DAMNIT LEARN AS MUCH AS YOU CAN THE SMART SURVIVE

If you're in doubt what path to walk in the meanwhile, just try to play it safe. Walk the path that's somewhat acceptable in scenario A as well as scenario B. Be conscious about all possible big pictures your actions might fit in. Emotional doubt is a sign of weakness, but intellectual doubt is a sign of strength. Don't forget that. And be strong as long as you can.
