One of the biggest and best ways that The Holy Spirit will reveil himself to you is through God's Word. I know that might sound like a lame or pat answer but it is anything but. Think of the Holy Spirit just as God's Spirit. He IS God, or perhaps a side of God; that is one way I like to think of the Trinity, like each person is simply a different side of God. Kind of like seeing the same person in three different angles or in three different ways. At least that is how I imagine it. Anyway, one dosen't have to feel God in order to know in your heart that He exists and is with you in a very intimate way. Read the Word and you will know why this is. It is difficult to explain but once you are into the Word, you will begin to understand. Maybe start with Psalms and the Gospel of John. And I too suggest C.S. Lewis' book "Mere Christianity". That is probably one of the best written books for beginning Christians ever written. Believe me, it is worth checking out.
