I love the idea of tending to younger children (well, boys... I'm only human!). It's an odd complex really. I think the world is absolutely forbidding, so when I see a poor soul in it, whatever his background, I just want to put my arms around him and say, "It's alright. We're two human beings sharing each other's company in the middle of all this chaos. It's beautiful..."

That single definition of love keeps me going sometimes. If I'm hung up about something I can do one of three things.

1) Endure the hunguppedness
2) Get angry
3) Get soppy

Any is good bar the first, and this gives me an option to calm my mind without pissing my parents off with heavy metal >:D
