Nice list! I have seen 14 of the 23 you have listed.

I find it interesting how some of the movies have slightly different titles in different markets. For example, "Kevin - Home Alone" is simply "Home Alone" in the U.S. Similarly, "Billy Elliot - I Will Dance" is just "Billy Elliot" over here.

I'd like to offer two (boy) movie suggestions:

Nobody Knows (Japan, 2004)
Powerful movie about 4 abandoned siblings (2 boys and 2 girls) forced to take care of themselves and stick together in tragic circumstances. This one leaves me a complete emotional wreck by the time it's over.

Mean Creek (USA, 2004)
About bullying and revenge, but also about choices and about begin willing to take responsibility for one's actions.
