Both of my YFs were quite affectionate when we were alone. They would often climb in my lap or sit close to me with their head on my shoulder. Sometimes they'd want me to rub their back. But one was ok with displays of affection in public while the other was not. I guess it depends on the boy and how macho he thinks he has to appear.
