Also, it's interesting to consider where Jesus confessed to epithumeo/ epithumia: at the last supper.

Then He said to them, "With fervent desire I have desired [epithumia epethumesa] to eat this Passover with you before I suffer."

which should be translated, for consistency, as "Then He said to them, "With fervent desire I have lusted to eat this Passover with you before I suffer."

This was, as he says, a fervent desire, and it was acted on in the real world and brought to consummation.
