I think it is one of many. And look; you have indeed put this one in a light that I feel we can all understand and address. So, I thank GOD that this life is not all that there is.

Who and what we love is I feel the key to our dilemma. That is to say, to such a position requiring a choice between two evils; [as between what we feel & think, and what we do and act on, because of our love.

My dilemma once was; after seeing a naked sleeping boy, it proved to be a very much embarrassing and perplexing situation because I got an errection as I saw he had one, leading to what seem to be a difficult choice between my own thoughts and feelings, and what I had to do about them.

I do not know how the feelings one has of love has so much to do with sexual feelings; but that often it is called, "making love" when we have sex with someone.

Indeed there is more to our life than sex or what is between or legs, but for the most part, it seems to get a great deal of our attention.

Our growing love for GOD seems to add to out dilemma, as He has given to His people Laws that tells us how He sees things. And many of His Laws have to do with Sexual matters and relationships.

Jesus has in many ways told and showed us how best to live with these Laws in view as on his "Sermon on the Mount." Thus I feel, we are in some ways tested by such Laws, as to how we view, live and understand them.

Looking to a better eternal life that God by Christ has set before us, we need not seek too much happiness in this one, or in loving the things of this world; But as best we can, let us live in the Hope, Love & Faith in the New World to Come, by means of God's New Kingdom from the New Heaven. creating the New Earth that we read about at 2Peter,3:11-16
