But he needs get his addiction under control, I don't think that masturbating in itself is a sin, but when you think of others, obviously, it's lust.

Now, this is something I HAVE done before. After a week or so of refraining from masturbating (mostly looking at porn) it becomes INCREDIBLY easy to masturbate, and I've done it, in like 15 seconds while watching TV. It really is a proven method in my books. It was a show I don't like to miss either. I didn't think of anyone, and man I felt good. Had to wait for a commercial to clean up however.

I'd advise him to do the same.
