One day a few years ago I went out to a resturaunt after church with some of my friends. When we seated ourselves we walked right past my mother and some of her friends, although I didn't realize it at the time. I guess I just wasn't paying attention to who was sitting where. Anyway, when we sat down I saw that her friend was facing me, so I waved "Hi.", but still didn't realize my mother was sitting opposite him until I kind of caught some of thier conversation. It was about me! He was actually arguing with her and was asking her, "What lifestyle?". Obviously she was ranting and raving about how I was off living this terrible, sinful lifestyle that she didn't approve of. Strange...she is the only one who knows about this terrible lifestyle I am supposed to be living.

I think that BL's are for the most part just like everyone else on the planet as far as lifestyles go. Probably just as varied and different from person to person. However, I would think that the thing that would distinguish us from many would be our involvement in anything "boy-related". Some of us become more involved than others with boys, but I'm sure that has a lot to do with individual personalities and other circumstances, like possible legal issues. I would love to know just what my mother thinks my "bad, bad, lifestyle" is all about, though.
