Actually what my lawyer (MY lawyer) told me was that if I wanted to fight my case, I would probably lose because it would be impossable to prove to a jury in this particular neck of the woods that what I had wasn't child pornography. Believe me, I wanted to fight it at first and was all ready to do so but it was my own lawyer that talked me out of it. When I got back to the jail, every inmate that I asked told me the same story about how this is the way the law works around here. The only way a person could possably beat it would be to hire a lawyer from out of state (not just out of town but out of state) and an expensive one at that. I found out first hand why a person does not want to get himself into trouble where I live. So, what you are saying could very well be true where you live, but around here, it just isn't.
