Maybe it's because THIS satire (see below) is almost identical. The wiki people don't know how silly they truly are. Why do we have this Monty Python group as our chief gang of ankle-biters anyways?

"CBLF aka Christian BoyLovers Forum and http://cblf.org, is a discussion board for so-called “Christian pedophiles". This forum is very similar to Boychat; the main difference being that its posters try to twist various Bible passages in order to justify their pedophilia.

The pedophiles who frequent CBLF try to hide behind a front of religious faith; but despite their sanctimonious pretenses, many of these so-called “Christian boylovers” have been involved with trading child pornography on Usenet and/or molesting children just the same as any other pedophiles would.

A number of the board’s members appear to have been active with youth ministry or other church volunteer work and have used these positions of trust to prey on, instead of pray for, the young boys they have access to."

You always know people are trying too hard rhetorically when they start to use "frequent" as a verb. "The employees of this company relentlessly frequent the coffee room where they engage in mindless gossip for 15 minutes each morning, prior to returning to their desks to masturbate or whatever they do in lieu of real work."

Anyways, this particular author obviously struggles with writing, abusing participles, misusing semicolons and using 'and/or.' But I do like the zinger at the end about "prey on, instead of pray for." It isn't true, but it's snappy.
