I feel a bit of empathy for this man... but I also think he's too busy feeling sorry for himself.

Yeah it's hard
but what this fellow needs is some gratitude.

God is not a vending machine... obligated to answer our prayers and make us happy.

He's the King who is to be served. We don't seek him so that our lives will improve. We seek Him because He is the master to be honoured.

God don't serve us... we serve Him. It is our responsiblity to make the most out of what He has given us and to do so with grattitude. Should we only seek God when things are going well???

We live in the richest countries in the world... we do not lack for food and clothes and water. In just that alone there is SO much to be thankful for and yet we moan and groan about our personally misery. For Goodness sake! Tell this man to look outside of himself. Yeah life is tough but it's not all about him and what he needs.

If he's a Christian he's called to serve and to bless others... oh but wait he can't do that... he's to busy complaining and feeling sorry for himself and looking at what he hasn't got. What a shame.

Perhaps this man needs to go for a walk and look at all the beauty in God's creation... or spend some time focusing on Jesus who gave up His own pleasure to come and die for our eternal benefit and commisions us to pass that blessing on to others. Reason to seek God... hmmm... is it really that hard to think of one?
