I saw a very eye-opening movie a while back called, "The Interrogation of Michael Crowe". It's a Court-TV movie based on a true story. It's about a 14-year-old boy, Michael Crowe, who -- when his 12-year-old sister is brutally murdered in the family home -- is accused by the police of being the murdered. Somehow they get it in their heads that he did it, despite a total lack of evidence, and they set out to get him to confess. After two days of interrogation and psychological manipulation, the poor kid doesn't know which way is up, and comes to believe he actually could have killed his sister.
It's a darn good movie. I highly recommend it! It has also caused me to be quite distrustful of the legal system. Chris, your experience further affirms that. Blessings, Rainboy |
