You could be right about that, I have often (VERY often) wondered about what might have happened had I decided to let it go to trial and fight it. However, I would have had to had a VERY decent lawyer, and I didn't have the money to do that at all. All I could get was the bloody court-appointed lawyer, and all he could do for me was to arrange the plea bargan. You are right, they intimidated me, but when you are poor, you are easy to intimidate. It is an unfortunate fact that in this country a person is entitled to all the justice he can afford.
