I have recently gotten into a discussion with newgeorge about the negative effects of having to go through a sex offender treatment program. He and I were relating so closely that we felt that it might be a good topic for discussion. We have both suffered some very adverse effects from having to go through such a thing, like being paranoid to be around children and feeling like they are "the enemy", as he put it. So much so that it greatly interferes with our social lives. There was a lot more said but rather than try to remember it all, I am just going to open this up as a topic for discussion for anyone interested. Has anyone else gone through such a program or does anyone have any thoughts about it?
