We agree here 100%. I am not worried about where I go after I die. Nor where anyone I know is going. God is in control not me. The reason why the theology of hell matters is it has so much power over so many people; it has had power since the Catholic church started preaching its fire and brimstone theology up to now with people who convert through fear, I've seen it. How many Christians now believe this theology of crap?: http://www.chick.com Repent or hell! sounds like cake or death to me just not so funny. Not why I became a Christian but it is used. I know people close to me who have had it shoved down their throats and who are not bitter atheists. That is why the theology of hell concerns me. It also concerns me because it says something about God whatever the answer. |
