People always seem to come up with this bullshit excuse that 'we choose' eternal damnation. First of all, WTF? It's not as if we just wake up one morning and think "Oh, I just want a bit of pain and suffering!" No. People who reject God's love do so because they HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE. People have as much free will as an apple does when it falls off the tree. What would free will be if it existed, randomness in the brain? Free will is just another arrogant argument to defend a belief. I do not NEED to use this to defend Christian faith, but unfortionately some do. I'm sorry I'm being agressive but someone who can justify this is beyond me. Let's say I have a boy. Well, I do, but that's another story >:D I love this boy dearly, and we go on a walk in the moors together. We come to a cliff. It is foggy and the boy can't see the cliff, but I know it's there. If the falls off it he will DIE. Except he won't, because there's a magical fire at the bottom which will keep him alive and burn him forever. Now, as a boy LOVER, what would I do. Would I TEAR HIM AWAY FROM THE EDGE OF THE CLIFF as soon as possible, or would I let him try his luck and know that it was okay for him to die (oh no, I mean suffer in agony eternally), because he CHOSE his own suffering? WHEN HE COULDN'T EVEN SEE THE CLIFF???????????? If God would choose the latter, then He is one extremely disturbed motherfucker |
