Think of a relationship as caring without wanting to get into his pants! My 13 old friend even hid my car keys in his briefs in the hope that i would pull them down! It is possible to practise self control!
I became very ill after having had a line of syf's for 40 yrs and then none for the next 28 yrs and was taken into hospital for a while and given every conceivable test but no ailment was found. I am sure that my problem was my boy orientation but I could not tell anybody and if I had it would probably have made things worse. Finally I recovered a little and then an 11 yr old boy was virtually dumped onto me by his stepfather who had been a previous syf and who wanted him out of the way,because he was a problem child. The boy and I bonded immediately and my health recovered miraculously! And so did the boys behaviour so that finally his mother started bringing him to me. He is now nearly 16 and started to go school regularly and has given up joining gangs, drinking, fighting and smoking marijuana.
I know that there are many boylovers out there who are caring for boys in the same way but we control our sexual feelings for them and for me it was the catalyst to make me love the boy in the first place and enjoy his friendly wrestling and his spontaneous little hugs he gave me when younger.
