I briefly heard a few snippets from some conservative radio talk shows about this. I normally agree with a lot of what those talk shows say. But in this instance, they are using people's fear of podophiles (the boogieman of our time) to attack the democrats. Until pedophiles are recognised as human beings, not perverts who are all out to rape your children, this sort of thing will continue. Unfortunately, the only way to get people to see pedophiles as anything but child molesters would be to have several non-offending pedophiles out themselves. But the 1st wave of outed non-offending pedophiles will surely be like sacrificial lambs. Their lives would be ruined, and a few would probably be killed. So few would ever intentionally out themselves. I know I wouldn't. The only outed pedophiles are mostly those who got caught molesting. So the myth continues.
