Christian BoyLove Forum #56946

The internet is a powerful tool for organizing and informing people but ultimately all grass roots movements have to take place in meatspace. Until boots hit the ground, an internet movement is pointless.
I don't believe you will gain anything from increasing the online pedophile presence. If you want to affect actual change, you will have to interact with the real world. I have no doubt that adult/child sexual relationships will be legalized in time. We have the truth on our side and against that, the forces of oppression are powerless. But I do not believe it will happen in our lifetimes. Now is not the time for activism on behalf of the sexual liberation of children. But there are battles we can fight and that we will win. We can fight to halt and then reverse the tide of scarlet letter laws and residency restrictions for sex offenders. We can fight to end out of control mandatory sentencing guidelines that are putting people in prison for decades for the crime of clicking on a link. We can win the fight against the mandatory reporting laws that deny access to mental health professionals for the pedophiles who need it most. There are battles we can win and I encourage you to engage in activism if that is your calling. But the battles have to be won outside, not on the internet, and this is probably the wrong forum to attempt to organize anything. |
