Some food for thought:

Paul wrote his letters before any of the Gospels were written.

Jesus did not write any of the Gospels, they were written by other people most of whom could not have actually met Jesus the person. The gospels were written in response to Jesus not returning as soon as Paul thought he would people needed to write down what happened before it got too changed by oral history.

These are not just my opinions but that of people who know much more about this stuff than I do, Biblical scholars and such.

There are very few parts of the Bible whom we know who wrote it. You do need to use your brain to interrupt and come to the best conclusions you can with the help of the Holy Spirit. You should not throw the entire thing out other than the 4 Gospels which still have differences between them.
