Don't know what the response is implying but let me take a shot in the dark. I am not nullifying the teachings in the Bible only pointing out that the Holy Spirit is the only one who can show us the truth. The Bible should be read as it is a good book and a book I believe all humans should read(no matter religious beliefs). I however know that I will never be able to understand anything in a book compiled centuries ago without the Holy Spirits help since he was there and is here and is able to reveal things to me that come straight from the Mind of God.

Why except a second hand knowledge from someone when you have access to go directly to the source. If any man seeks wisdom let him ask of God and he will give to him in abundance. Why do we look to ancient text when we can go directly to GOD who is the inspirer of that text and the Creator of ALL THINGS?
