I feel when we use words to express strong fellings like "Love" and then point and give a name to what it is that we have this love for, as in a person, place or thing: Then come to see how or why we have come to have these feelings: Ways of dealing with it leads some thing more than just feelings, like what I find said by:
I. Charles Colton "Friendship set on fire. 2. Jeremy Taylor "The heart"s immortal thirst to be known and forgiven. 3. Henry Van Dyke "Spiritual fire." 4. Francis Bacan "When anothr person's needs are as important as your own. I do not say they were talking of Boy Love, but I find it expresses what I feel, I feel with no thought of sex. To have sexual feelings seems to be like I am loving sex. or having it added to the boy's maleness as I see him in this light. Then I am moved to a new attraction to his beauity. Thus, I make a scientific study of the development of meanings of these words "Boy Love." leading to "adore" 'fond of' cherish, worship, idolize, treasure, crazy about, and so on. Then, wanting to "make out" hug, kiss, cuddle, embrace. Engage in foreplay 'have the hots for, make love, romance. Leading to hate, dislike, loathe and detest, as seen by others. I do hope and wish that this is not what "Boy Love" is all about. Justine75 |
