Blackstone: I have just spent MANY, MANY hours this week trying to do the research in order to get the satirical references (to the orators Lysis & Isocrates) correct in my rendition of Plato's Phaedros. It is my sincere hope that when this audio rendition is published, the listeners will feel that I have done justice in giving voice both TO THE LOVER, and TO THE NON-LOVER. I am very disappointed when people reduce my elaborate polyphonies to their own Johnny-One-Note rhetorical range.
