I caught up the other night with a couple of past yfs that are now young adults. I haven't seen them for a few years and we got to remenissing about their boyhoods and my role in them.

They were both so positive about those days and one of them says to me quite openly, "Cat, those days with you were the best days of my life."

I don't think we can ever overestimate the potential impact we can have on our yfs if we love them in a godly fashion. Praise God your yf is pulling his life together and Praise God that you continue to love him even though he's out of your ideal AOA.
