As for the ages of Jonathan and David, please find that at 1Sam.13:1-3 it can be seen that Johathan must have been 20 yrs old or more. And when our David was just still a boy, 1Sam.17:54-58 Saul asked about him. At such a time as this David and Jonathan became close friends. 1Sam.18:1-3 Jonathan
even saved Davids' life at 1Sam.19:1-7. As I see it they were not the same
age, as David was a young boy when meeting Jonathan, and later when he was 20 or more was taken into the army.

I may be wrong to see it this way; but my point was that they were lovers and I do not mean there was any sexual attraction between them. Some boys look like girls when very young; but this doses not mean they are to be seen as sexually attractive. Again I point to Jam.1:14-15
