Hmmm... I'd never considered that perspective before. Not quite sure how to answer it. Does a yf even think about his O/F in terms of acknowledgement of what he means to him? or the dynamics of thier relationship.

I suspect a boy doesn't go out looking for an O/F in the deliberate way I'd think a BL would look for or desire a Y/F.

But if a boy is in a relationship with an older friend perhaps he may (certainly if he was a teen) ask "what is the nature of this relationship?"
