I was recently reading about the Oedipus complex at school because my teacher had shown us the story of Oedious Rex and I was wondering how some of the people here felt about the Oedious complex and if it should be used as something to look into in order to explain or determine homosexuality and pedophilia?

Also, my teacher took me (I felt so special cause I was not supposed to go to begin with) to a book fair and he was telling me of a book called Lolita and I felt I should mention it though I know full well that most everyone here is attracted to boys(Correct me If I'm wrong) I thought it be an interesting book just because it is from the prespective of a pedophile and though maybe someone here might be able to relate to the narrator and maybe find some way to cope with their lust as I have seen in a message prior to this one. I figured "Eh, BL, GL, how different could they possibly be?" I think it was written in 1955 though I'm not quite sure.
