You are in good company, brother. AND you are so welcome here. I think it's a great thing that you have a YF and are so commited to being a good friend to him and not acting on your sexual feelings. I commend you on that! It isn't an easy thing to do and I know exactly how you feel. Read my reply to bigcalv's recent post below if you like. The one called "Life is cruel but God is not." I've been in your shoes myself. There are many things about life that remain a mystery and I believe this is one of the biggest mysteries of all. But even so, God is always with us and will give us the strength to deal with our feelings.

I don't think that you should end your relationship with your YF just because you have sexual feelings towards him. If you are able to controle these feelings, then why end it? Nothing happens in our lives without a reason, and God must have had a good reason to put you in his life, and he in yours. Believe me, count your blessings that you have such a relationship in this day and age, and look at it as a blessing. A HUGE blessing, because it is! Treasure that boy in your heart and promise God that you will always do so; I think He will bless your friendship. That's how I think, anyway.
