I Know what you mean I have had many young friends and they know how much they are loved by us. Some of them do take advantage and sometimes it is not even intentional. I have always had a problem saying no to a boy or Y/F but I do I make myself, because I know if I don't I would be hurting him and that is the last thing I want to do. Godspell is right adults have to be responsible and act so. I had a Y/F years ago that grew up and just would not listen to any advice, wouldn't accept any real help (tough love) and had to learn the hard way. It sucks having to watch it happen but I was still there for him and never stopped loving him. I do agree do not be bullied set the standards and guidelines and hold him to it. You will be helping him in the long run.
