Whilst I entirely agree there is a desperate need for change in Western society, the hope that Obama will be able to bring it is a going to be proved wrong. Our problems are far more deep seated and will not be resolved by political change. I guess the fact that people recognise the need for change is good news - but the danger is that when the dream explodes they will seek ever nastier solutions, instead of turning to God's way. Just to be clear - I am of course not suggesting that McCain would have been an improvement.....
