This has bothered me in the past, too, but now I don't really worry about it. The way I see it, the other actors are usually a lot more well known than the child actor (who is probably in one of his early roles), so from a marketing point of view it makes sense to highlight the fact that they are in the movie -- if it gets a few extra people to watch, it's worth it. Sometimes it even happens that lesser-known adult actors who are playing a lead role get second billing to a well-known actor playing a tiny bit part. I think it's just a reality of the business.
