I ordered the book, but I am not sure if I want to read it before the film hits the desk. I already pre-ordered the DVD.

The YT-Vid does the boy's appearance and his spirit no justice at all, I have seen pictures. All but the main male character are lay-actors, actual villagers of a small village near Jerez de la Frontera in Spain. The boy as well.
