Ok, now that I have all the posting problems taken care of (thanks everyone), I can do a proper revue on this DVD. Well, I was shopping at Amazon and they have this thing that recomends items based on your recent purchases. This DVD came up and right away when I saw the assorted revues on it, I knew I should probably check it out. I tried to rent it but noone had it, so back to Amazon I went and I bought it. When it arrived on Wednsday, I could hardly wait to put it in the player.

Words cannot express the beauty of this concert. Each and every song is perf o r med with the utmost of love and care. And I believe that the selection of songs is like thier greatest hits. I am a Libera fan, but I haven't been one for very long, so I'm not too familiar with all of thier material. Well, I am now. After I put that DVD in for the first time and it started playing, it took about three songs before I realized that I was just standing in front of my TV with my coat still on and my mouth wide open. These boys are literally angels on earth. It is my opinion that if the actual Heavenly angelic choir and Libera were to sing the same song, one right after the other, you would be hard pressed to be able to tell the difference. Yes, they are THAT good.

But there is more to this treasure. In the "Extras" there is a nice long interview of all the boys. They all introduce themselves and answer some candid questions about how they feel about school and about being in Libera. They also show some nice footage of the boys playing around and just being regular boys. There are also two extra songs as well. Very nice.

Good grief, maybe I should just list the whole set. I think what impresses me more than anything about this DVD is it's excellent photography and sound quality. The sound is Dolby Suround Sound. The filming is beautiful, with many, many lovely closeups and even some nice shots of the captive audience (I wonder how many BL's are in the audience..). And when they show the closeups, or literally any nice shot of the boys, you really get the feeling that you are getting to know them personally, because they sing with such beautiful openness and let thier personalities shine through so well. Several of the boys take solos, so there isn't just one boy doing all of them. And it is nice to see and hear how different each one aproaches his solo. And like I said, every single song and perf o r mance is just flawless. In all, the experience of watching this DVD is very, very close to actually being right there. Don't be surprised if you find yourself so wrapped up in it that you are just standing in front of your TV without having taken off your coat, with your mouth hanging wide open and your eyes tearing up....like me.
