I imagine you would love a movie called Final Fantasy VII - Advent Children.
OH THE IMAGERY.
All the greatest man soldiers get their power from a source called, believe it or not, "mother".
But Alas mother betrayed them and now they run around kidnapping and then baptising the next generation of children into their mother worship.
Only when the lead anti-hero takes the mother escence into himself does the true grown-up man emerge in the f*o*r*m of Separoth, the mightest (and most self-serving) of men.
And he has a really long sword.
However, there is one man who has separated himself from mother, our hero; Cloud.
Humble, unassuming, ready to fight.
Cloud must fight the mother-infected man, lay down his life for the cause even, so that he might free the children and save them from mother.
It's as thick as honey, I'm sure you'd love it.
Oh and Denzel, the lead boy (yes Cat I would like to suck the life out of that one)! Alas the hunger!

I have drunk from my own mother that very essence of life that has given me my own.
Am I free?
Am I still haunted by her spectare?
Have I flown off into the heavens to join the other blood drinkers that I may escape her clutches and find my freedom?
This much I know, it was no woman's mouth that devoured my flesh and gave me the hunger to so eat.
