I think that life travels in seasons.
You had a season of being with your yf... even living with him (akk I'm SO jealous!)... and now you have a season of being without a yf.

There is nothing wrong with having a season of feeling lonely. It's part of the journey we all travel and if you stay connected to people then it's very likely going to pass.... eventually.

Pray for the opertunity for another yf is my advice. God will bring the right boy at the right time. Even if it takes time to develop the relationship... that's a good season too me thinks.

I worry as I get older (now 40ish) that I'll get to an age where I'll be too old to play with a yf like I do now... gosh I dread that so much... and I think this is my last chance for a really great af/yf relationship... but all these things must be trusted to God.

Fortunately I correspond with some senior BLs and the assure me that the boys are still there and they still get connected to them... Phew!

Keep up with those adult friendships... they'll keep you on level ground even when you're lonely.
