Talking is cool. I'm sure most people here wouldn't mind talking to you. I didn't reply to your first post because I wasn't in the mood to deal with yet another non-boylover who pops in here telling us how much he hates us all. But don't worry, I don't take it personally. If you truly want to learn about pedophilia, feel free to stick around and ask any questions you may have. You mentioned that you didn't know what you could believe. Keep in mind that we have no reason to lie. Everyone is anonymous here, so we feel free to say what we really feel and believe. But while we're on the subject of what to believe, I should mention that we, and other pedophile boards have on occasion had people post saying they were boys, when in truth they were actually men just trying to play games. I'm not accusing you of this. I just wanted to warn you that some may be a bit skeptical about your age. If that happens, don't take it personally.

If you are here to learn, I think the first basic thing you should know is that pedophiles don't choose to be attracted to minor boys. I don't know if we are born with it or if it developes somewhere in our lives. But the common misconception that we CHOOSE this attraction isn't true. I would give anything to NOT have the attraction to minor boys. But since that isn't going to happen, I've learned to live with it.

Another misconception is that all pedophiles are molesters. Some people seem to believe that our attractions are uncontrolable, that we will at some point molest a child, like it's some kind of compulsion. That isn't true. There are a few pedophiles that are compelled to molest, just like there are a few heterosexual men compelled to rape. But the vast majority of pedophiles can control their desires. Unfortunately, a few choose to give in to it, and those are the only ones you ever hear about, so it's easy for people to believe we are all like that.

Well, I guess that might give you a couple things to think about. Feel free to stay around as long as you want and ask anything you want.
