If I may, is this verse not stating rather that God will provide a means of escaping temptation?

I know little about Young's Literal Translation, but it sounds like it must be quite accurate.

Still, I have to wonder why the majority of the translations use the word escape rather than outlet.

I myself have had numerous experiences in which God has delivered me from temptation by providing a distraction or a change of setting, but never have I been given an "outlet" in the sense that the desire behind my temptation was then fulfilled.

Just a thought. It seems like an important distinction.
