Dear, DEAR Burdened,

So many of us here have felt so much of how you feel now - at one time or another.

You have come to a safe place here.

“I wil never know what it feels like to be loved, hugged or kissed”

Reading what you have written I already feel love for you - hearing your honest heart-cry in your desperation and hopelessness, if I were anywhere near I’d give you a hug straight away, no questions asked. I’m a good hugger.

And you are a great man, in establishing boundaries and caring enough not to want to hurt others. The God we serve shows unfathomable love in self-giving for anyone who looks to Him - so much love that He gave Himself to the world in human form. That incomparable love is towards you too. It’s not just to those who are saints or church-goers or have got it all together and “doing all the right things”. He loves YOU. He says "Come to me, all you who are weary and BURDENED, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28, in the Bible)

What can you do to make life less painful for yourself?

Look to God and drink in His deep, full and genuine love for you.
Hang around here - you are among friends and brothers.
Read some of the recent posts where other guys share their hurts and pain - to see that you are NOT alone.
