I've had only one big time, serious YF, and I knew him from when he was 8 years old till 19 years old. I say "kind of" because our relationship wasn't exactly what you would call romantic. We were very close, but it wasn't like that. I miss him terribly, though. He would be 26 by now and I know I would still love him as much as I did when he was a young boy. Maybe more, if that were possable. I often wonder if he has gotten married and maybe had children of his own. One of my favorite fantasies is him finding me some day and introducing me to his own young son, who maybe looks ver much like he did at that age, and then the boy begins to fall in love with me too.
