You know the ending was a bit ... well... flat for me... but I'm sure the next time I see it I won't feel that way. The boys were magnificent! I wondered if I would have enjoyed it so much as I did if I wasn't a boylover?... I think I would... though I'm not sure. The sweetness and innocence of the brethren boy is just so wonderful it was worth watching the film just for that... and when he put the arms of his dad's coat around him... my heart broke. For me the friendship between the two boys was what made the movie.... the humour and the plan to make the film were amusing... but the development of their relationship was honest and endering. It gets my thumbs up... not the best boy movie in the world... but definately worth watching. Blessings Cat.
