Hi Dakota,

In this case there is nothing wrong with the honesty of the camp or the movie.

My statement may have confused the issue. I did not mean to imply that the camp or the movie claimed to be impartial. The camp IS a "gay" camp, and they make no attempt to be seen as anything other than that. [All the leaders are gay!]

Similarly, the movie is produced and directed by openly-gay individuals, and is marketed to gay audiences (through gay movie festivals). They are not in any way pretending to be impartial.

I just get tired of pro gay forums saying they are not attempting to address the rightness or wrongness of it when that is exactly what they are doing.

They did not say they were "not attempting to address the rightness or wrongness" ... I said they were not. There is a big difference (but no contradiction). Simply choosing to focus your 78 minute running time on the campers -- when your overall agenda (that "gay is OK") is completely out in the open -- is in no way dishonest.

Watch the movie and see if you still feel the same way. Then we can discuss it further :-)

Blessings,
Rainboy
