Newgeorge that was so moving! I was really enouraged by what you wrote. Our stories are more complicated than we can comprehend and God, in His grace, does find a place for us when others (sometimes including ourselves) are ready to write us off. One of the girls in our church recently shared this idea "right now we are right where God wants us to be". I like that idea in the context of our story. So often people spend time and energy running away and they fail to live the life they have been given. My life... even me myself... its not some terrible mistake. Very encouraging to hear when you are on the edge of losing so much. By the Way, we are not all Americans around here. I'm in Australia, others are in the UK.... some are even outside of the western nations all together. Psalm 56:8 is the tears referance.
