Christian BoyLove Forum #54070

Well, I can only really speak for myself in this regard (and I may very well be the exception to the rule) ... I have never had a problem with fantasy or needing visual aids (even in my teenage years). My mind is a blank slate :-)
That being said, at this point I am not convinced one way or the other whether fantasy is right or wrong. I used to believe it was wrong, but now I wonder if it might have a legitimate place in the Christian life. [Now this goes on the assumption that the fantasy in question is Godly and affirming of positive ideals, like love, tenderness, fidelity, honor, etc. Much of what would be available in pornography probably would NOT be suitable Christian fantasy material, IMO.] I'd really be interested in others' thoughts on this issue! [Is fantasy legitimate? If so, how does one distinguish between good fantasy and bad fantasy? How does lust fit into the picture?] Blessings, Rainboy |
