We have a promotion going on over here where they put sports cards in junk food packets.

I know my yf collects these cards, as do half the other boys in my church. Occasionally I get one and it has become my custom to give them to him. This is a very subtle way to let him know that he's my number one amongst the kids and give him some special attention.

Well God blessed me this weekend, because (just randomly) the card I gave him was one he really wanted and didn't have. He was very pleased and excited. So pleased in fact that he ran to me, hugged my back (he was standing behind me) and said "I LOVE YOU!"

I know that all he was really saying was 'thank you'.... but still I can't tell you how happy hearing those three words from him made me. :D
