I think it would be professionally unethical to engage in a sexual relationship with a student, when the teacher is in a position of authority over the student. I think that it changes when the student leaves school. From a Christian perspective God created male and female to enjoy a sexual relationship only within a lifelong marriage. When we fall short of this we sin and need to repent and receive God's forgiveness.
