It's a tough thing being an out ped. We have no 21st century role models for how to exist in society. Dylan Thomas, webmaster at boychat for the last few years, to some extent offered himself for that role. His ready tongue, willingness to excuse himself of all responsibility, and complete lack of shame won him friends at BC; his skill at evading capture in Mexico, and, for many years, leading the lifestyle of his choice, made him admirable in the eyes of the boychatters.

Unfortunately, the glare of publicity reveals a man very different to the posting persona of the "Philosopher of Liberty."

I feel deep shame at being associated with him and with www.boychat.org.
I wish I could run away from my commitment to on-line pedophilia, the ten years of my life spent in that company.

Pedophilia is a bad tooth that has to come out.

What's especially noteworthy here, though, is that the other BC cogs don't seem to be doing the stonewalling that characterized the arrests of so many other figures. M Elf himself has linked nicks, and actual moral discussion seems to be under way. Perhaps this solid impact between the lofty ideals of boylove and their sordid reality will positive changes at BC.
