I think church buildings are a waste of money. It's just an excuse for most of us to go and sit on our asses and feel good and holy about something. I really couldn't care less, I like actually helping people, getting behind a pulpit and spitting on your audience in a big-time auditorioum does nothing. Going to mexico and building a house... that's what a church is for, not so we can have AC, microphones and 6 screens to display the guy on the stage in front of you, we should have shacks, people. The money we tithe for shouldn't go to YOUTH pizza night, it should go to missions. I would rather have to fight my way to church and have a high risk of dying to get there, just so you could see how many people didn't show up because it means nothing. Tithing is meant to broaden the ways for us be Jesus to people. Not broaden the shack we deserve.
